Sketch of my Pearlcatcher, Nocturne.

Cause I'm bored due to the downtime like everyone else, post a dragon below with their name and if they intrigue me enough, I'll do a free sketch for ya. I like well thought out backstories, interesting personality quirks, and pretty apparel.

Or if you absolutely must have one and you'd rather not leave things up to my whim, I can do something like the above for... would 5K be reasonable? Sorry, I'm clueless at judging the value of my arts. ^^;

Ahhhh, that's really pretty! Okay let's see, which of my dragons should I use...


When she broke out of her shell, the human squealed, stroked her head reverently, and called her 'Minty'. Not that dignified of a name, but it's not that important. She has work to do.

As a disciple of the Lightweaver, she spends most of her days exploring the outskirts of The Hewn City, extracting ancient documents and refurbishing them for the perusal of her fellow Light worshippers. She shares these documents of another age freely with her brothers and sisters, but of the secrets she encounters personally in those dark ruins, she keeps to herself.

If others knew what lay hidden within the Lightweaver's very own domain... She doesn't bear to think of it.

Minty is a quiet dragon, reserved and hard working, and she dreams of dark waters and dark eyes, black woods and black figures, and a shadow that engulfs the world...

Wow, I didn't expect for a little bio blurb to get this intense. When the site goes back up I am totally putting this in her description box. So yes, there is my Light dragon explorer who has been touched with madness for the sake of keeping her Lady's secrets. If you decide that's the sort of thing you wanna play with, that's awesome, and if not, that is totally cool by me.

Sen shook his head and looked around. Ah, what sort of narration was he in this time? A cursory examination of himself and his surroundings: a large, black-scaled beast with green fur and wings, horns, other miscellaneous features; and a hot, humid, jungle-type environment. Hm... some sort of fantasy setting, with myself as a dragon. Hopefully the intelligent sort, and not the knights-slain type. He stretched, feeling out his new body. It was satisfactory. Now, to get his bearing and find the others...

Hum, I went with something that depicts her vulnerable side. I figure, those nightmares take a toll on her mental health and she seems like the type to hide her tiredness from others, hence the goggles obscuring what are most likely bags under her eyes from sleepless nights. Hopefully I interpreted her character right. ^_^;


Rhea: Hee hee. Sen seems like he deals with a lot of your shenanigans. Ahhh... He's so beautiful, I wanna try drawing him. I just hope that I can do his depiction some justice.

Yeah, haha. As my OC, he's bound to my whims, and has ended up in a lot of stories, not all of them fun... he was certainly confused when Cassowary, his first mate (my second progen) and my in-game avatar character, insisted on mating and then selling/trading their offspring. "You want to do WHAT?!"

Awesome sauce! Thankies kindly Dundee! X3 Hee hee. Nocturne is weird. He's an amnesiac that appeared in my lair one day and fell in love with my other PC, Song. Buahaha. Basically the culmination of my luck when he popped out of an egg I scavenged (Shadow/Blue/Seafoam!). :3



Just putting this here. I was actually in the middle of working on this picture of Hana, my White/Tomato Imp when I got your reply. She's named after the Korean word for 'one' since she was the single egg in a split clutch between my WC and an Imp. In my mind, she's a sweetie with a frail constitution and low self-esteem because I had originally wanted a male Imp with White body and wings in the red range except for Tomato. XD Funny how things work out. She's one of my favorites now.

Gonna work on Sen next!

Edit: Although, I just realized that Nocturne, as an amnesiac PC, would probably have a damaged pearl wouldn't he? Oh, I just made myself sad. :<

Pretty much. I mean, the parents were White/Rust and White/Carmine. I would have been happy with anything except Tomato. Pfft. This poor girly, getting so much flak just for being born. XD

Aaaaaaa thank you soooo much ersatz he's beautifullllll <3 Haha he's probably watching Cassowary or Aeon or even possibly Jack doing something dumb. He's very happy Vincent, one of the level-headed ones of the crew, has been found. He can't wait for Rin and Michael to also come along so he'll have to not deal with the crazy antics by himself xD

Aerei was born on the edges of the Zephyr Steppes, where her egg had long since been abandoned. Not wishing to attempt the Twisting Crescendo when she came of age - or have her children try it, and possibly suffer the humiliation of failure - she left the Windswept Plateau in favor of gentler nesting grounds. She joined her new clan in the center of the verdant forests, serving the Gladekeeper and raising her children in the safety of the Everbloom Gardens.

But it wasn't meant to last, and when she was charged with leading an expedition into the Hewn City to find a very specific tome with a very specific spell hidden within to glory the Gladekeeper, she could only obey. So, accompanied by her mate (whose fondness for adventure caused his abandonment of the Starfall Isles in favor of more exciting pursuits), she traveled deep into the ruins, dodging the Lightweaver's most earnest watchers and skirting around horrific monsters, in order to unearth the book.

(this escalated quickly wtf i just wanted to make her an explorer & a concerned mother aaaaa)

Aahh... Sometimes I have to stop myself from developing a picture too much. Art is a hobby and a stress outlet for me and if I concentrate on it too much, my perfectionist tendencies start to stress myself out and I'm liable to burnout. Nevertheless, Aerei is such a pretty Pearlcatcher. uwu

This is Dewi a young leader of a fiery welsh clan (rather brutish as they are celts), he's quite serious and fierce, but also a loving fatherly figure

I does normally have a veteran eye scar over his left eye (no idea why i took it off of him before the site went down)
