when you check on your lair multiple times a day during downtime just to make sure your dragons are all still there and relatively well fed... though i feel they should be kept at full satiation during downtime

Guilty as charged! Seriously though, school starts very soon for me and this downtime is good to wean me off this addiction, but it hurts. So, very much. DX

I must confess that I've dreamt twice now that I've awoken to a lair full of dragons with no energy.

I had a dream where Crim took my spiral scroll.
And I had a dream where one user I know was actually the second account of another not-nice user and I was really sad because I'd liked the second account.
I also dream in trollslum colour spectrums now.

it was a dream about flight rising that actually made me wake up at 1:00 AM in the morning and get on my computer I dreamed that there was a contest you could participate in to get a pearlcatcher scroll and I won one, and I was having the hardest time figuring out how to apply it to Zahavah when I couldn't log in. eventually the logic loop fried my brain and woke me up craving pixel dragons. #fandom secret #i don't even like pearlcatchers that much #spirals and wildclaws all the way #don't tell lightweaver

I feel ya on the trollslum color spectrum. It's basically how I identify colors now.
You see this pillow? It's not simply purple anymore, it's Mulberry. These flowers, their petals aren't blue, or light blue, they're Sky.

Oh glory, yes, the colour spectrum. I used to cruise through the auction house looking for specific colour combinations, and I had a few arcs of the spectrum memorized and could instantly identify them. AND WHAT IF I LOSE THAT DURING THE DOWNTIME?? Hah, just kidding. Even if I do lose the instant identification, I'll get back in a day or two. Though maybe I'll take after ersatzlace and start identifying RL colours by the spectrum . . . and start speculating on what the possibilities would be if they bred (hmm, if our soil couch and rust chairs had hatchlings . . . )

hydrargyrum80o.O furniture hatchlings, interesting! You also know you're obsessed when you dream someone messaged you with a red/emerald female hatchling for you, already double gened ready to be Ridgebacked....... only to wake up and find it was only a dream... I felt like crying

You know you've done FR too much when you regard peoples cars as dragons, and subconsciously calculate what colours two cars would produce if they bred. I am not sure how my brain thinks sometimes.
And this morning when I got up and went to let the chickens out of the barn, I very distinctly thought to myself "gotta get out of bed and let the dragons out" - would've made sense if we still had dragon ducks, but we haven't had those in years.

(Photo: svenskmyskanka.blogspot.se) The males of those can be referred to as dragons :3 We had a single male for the longest of time, he was really derpy, but ended up unwell and generally sick, so I had to put him down

But yeah. It makes me a little sad how easily I recognize the colors of dragons posted in the FR tag.
