The more information I learn, the more I want to buy the game. I loath some of the names and the new "mega" evolution which would have sounded better as "alpha" or "omega". But just, so excited.... I mean anyone else totally looking for October for Pokemon? If so what do you look forward to in the game? |

DIAGONAL WALKING.
SITTING ON BENCHES.
RIDING POKEMON AND JUMPING UP LEDGES.
FAIRY TYPE IS BEST TYPE.
Everything I see just excites me more and more. This year is a good year for games!

What about the new mega Evolution? I do agree that Absol and Malwhile needed an evolution, but I don't think the evolution is nessacary on stage 3ers, starters, and legendaries. |

It's not true evolution, nor is it a form. It can only happen during battle and reverts when the battle is over. One can only have one Mega pokemon on their team at any given time. |

Still matches Digimon a tad, the anime not the games. They may make evolutions for mawile and the other pokemon that need it. Also your Pokemon has to hold an item to reach the mega evolution in battle.

Actually, I'd assume only fully evolved Pokemon can use Mega Evolution. Which would mean Absol, Mawile, etc. will never have "real" evolutions.

I mean Mega-Evolution might be changed for the American market. Everything is still the Japanese stuff. (I'm hoping they change it too >.>0
And just saying, Blaziken definitely didn't need an evolution. It's bad-ass enough XD And Mawile has a Steel/Fairy typing meaning it resists and is super effective on Dragon o.O That'll be interesting. I hope it becomes super awesome OU or Ubers or something XD that'd be cool

Oh really? Huh. I missed that then. And I heard it was a held item that could be Knock Off-ed. Though I don't seem to be the most reliable source of information XD

There are held items, I dunno about knock-off's effect on them. But serebii (reliable source) is where I get my info from, so check it out if you're confused. xD

Isn't there an attack to knock-off items? That could potentially play a role in future strategies with this new mega power-up {since Evolution is not really the right word}, just knock-off the held item that cases the mega power-up. Also what about the new training system? Think it may change how some people train?  Question anyone else reminded of Thomas Jefferson? From Fairly Odd Parents with his little storm lightning moment. |

My boyfriend preordered Y for me the other night. He's getting me that and a new 3DS XL for me for my birthday. Pokemon Y comes out two days before my birthday. I so can't wait.
AND OMG. Anyone else seen the english demo? It looks so awesome.
