We all belong in multiple places. I mean it is possible to be firey in personality but love to learn and explore. If you do not feel like you belong somewhere, sit down and just think. What do you see in your dreams? What do you have memories of? What is your life story? Pick what brings all those things together and make your decision in what your heart tells you. You will be happier in the end, why, because in all honesty all of us are alike. I mean some or more competitive or scheming, plus we are all willing to help others. Not to mention each element has that one bad apple in their Flight. Again sit down, draw, write, and just think of everything you have experienced and go with where you belong in the present, past, and future.

Or, if you don't feel like you belong anywhere in particular, you can choose a flight purely on aesthetics if you wish. There are people on FR who picked a certain flight completely arbitrarily. You can even pick based on eye color. I'm in Arcane and as much as I love my flight, sometimes I wish I picked my second choice, Ice, because the pinkish purple eyes my dragons have don't really fit with their color schemes. -_-;

Well, I know I heard multiple times that each flight has specific eye colors, I didn't think it was true until I looked at 3 of my shadow dragons. Shadow dragons get purple eyes. I like purple.

There was an image with each specific Dragon eye... but I had the link to the thread in the Light Board.... *moops in a corner* I wish I had access to it... It describes everything about each group's eye color, activity, and what other users think of them...

I just forgot my username thing. The one I use to log in, not the one that's visible here. in other news, I'm now deciding between the Lightning and Shadow Flights. On the list I have, it says your username is dragon on here. Though, LJ should save your name/password for you. you can click the "members" tab and see peoples' display name and username on the list. |

Another suggestion for choosing a flight is pick one that would be appropriate for a character you really like (OC or already extant). I was thinking about joining Shadow because shadows are really cool and all, but then I read about their traits, and the whole trickster thing isn't really my cup of tea, so I started skimming the qualities of each of the flights and Light mentioned that they're really scholarly and like scrolls and such, and since one of my favourite characters ever is noted for being a scholar, I went with Light.

It's a good thing I chose my Flight based on its attributes and meaning rather than eye colour because I love them all, I can't choose XD
I'm of the Arcane Flight, love our lore! In fact I love all Flights' descriptions but Arcane hits closer to home. But yes, taking your time to pick your Flight and choosing your progen carefully will greatly affect your gameplay experience.

Well Arcane is a flight of oddball people :3 it is also one of the larger flights, if that bothers you. I think it's lovely, because we can do big raffles, giveaways, and be ambitious in the community because it's larger. I know you said you'd narrow it down to two, but I figured I might as well throw Arcane in.
And if I were you, I'd poke around the dragon sales forums and just look at the dragons there and see what you can potentially do with your progenitor. Obsidian/obsidian or white/white is powerful only because those two colors are given a completely arbitrary desirability and you can add a tertiary and having a blank canvas to put circuit or gembond on guarantees it will look good. I just happened to pick an obsidian primary starter because I like black/bright colors, whom I adore. So yeah. I don't know if that was helpful at all.

Well, that quiz is a little silly, as most of the questions are easy enough to figure out which they point you to, as well as some poorly designed questions, but it was fun.
I got plague, which is nice as it's what I am, followed by fire and then lightning, two of my other favorites, which was also cool. I think it's funny that I got 0 water points, seeing as that's my boyfriend's flight. |
