Would you rather...?

This forum is missing some games so let's start with a staple of the forum games.

The rules are simple, a poster asks if you would rather do one thing or the other, the next poster responds with which they would do (and why, if you like!) and then asks another "would you rather", simples! You can be as serious or ridiculous as you like.

Would you rather be friends with a dragon but not be able to fly with them, or be a dragon and be lonely?

Ugh god tough question....
Being a dragon in this world would be tough, yet so would having a dragon friend.
If we don't include the current world we'd have to live in as a factor, I'm gonna go with being a dragon and being lonely.

Would you rather have the ability of flight if you were a dragon, or the ability to breathe fire?

Ohhh... That's difficult. I'm afraid of heights because I fear falling to my death, but if I could fly I could negate that fear. On the other hand, breathing fire is so very useful and I'm all for being utilitarian. Hmmm... I'll go with flying because I can also use that as a mode of transport among other things. ^^;

Continuing along the if you were a dragon vein, would you rather have bird-like feathery wings, or bat-like leathery wings?

Definitely batlike. Feathers would take SO much time to preen.
Continuing the if-you-were-a-dragon scenarios, would you want to be very large or very small?

Very large, leaves the intimidation factor in. Of course, it depends on what I could do as a small dragon. Compare a house cat to a tiger.

I like this if-you-were-a-dragon scenario thing we've got going, would you rather be natural colors (like your surroundings: grey for mountains, blue for water), or random colors like the Flight Rising dragons?

Just kidding! I love pure whites, but it doesn't really fit me. Naturals all the way (a whole range of browns and grays I think). I like being able to blend into my surroundings. :3
As a dragon would you rather have senses similar to a snake, or a bird of prey?

Ahh man HARD QUESTION, I LOVE BOTH
I adore snakes(and have 4), and I'm also really into raptors(want to be a falconer).
I'm gonna have to go with bird of prey, my snakes are dorks and don't use their snake senses.

Would you rather be a dragon that can withstand hot temperatures or cold temperatures?

Ffffff- I hate the heat so much, but if I can withstand it, would that make me more comfortable overall? Ehhh... I'll go with the hot temperatures because I can't justify withstanding the cold without having a large fluffy coat and while I like large fluffy coats, it wouldn't really fit with my dragon self. :3

Would you rather have an external primary defense mechanism (sharp claws, fangs, armored scales, etc.), or an internal primary defense mechanism (fire-breath, venom, spell-casting, etc.)?

As much as I admire internal primary defenses, I'm a big fan of external defenses. I'd go with that.

Would you rather have the ability to speak or have certain telepathic powers(whatever you'd like; touch telepathy, projection, etc)?

well... you could probably speak through telepathy.. and being telepathic has more pluses than speaking soooo... telepathy!

Disney land, I've only ever been to Disney world and to be honest, I don't like it so much.

Would you rather babysit someone's annoying dog for a week, or spend the day with a group of annoying kids?

The dog, for the love of god, the dog. Me and children are a big no-no. Especially the annoying kinds. I refuse to pay for their therapy if I am stuck alone with them for any certain amount of time. >:I

Would you rather have a one-egg clutch with a beautiful hatchling, or a five-egg clutch with mediocre/ugly hatchlings?

...Right now, probably a five-egg clutch xD Because most of my starter dragons breed for pretty awful offspring that I've just been exalting, and I don't really want to keep any hatchlings currently unless one is absolutely PERFECT for future plans, so the five-egg clutch would be far more useful xD

Would you rather be immortal (forever young - old age can't kill you, but everything else can) or invulnerable (can only die from old age)? c:

Immortal, because then I could kill myself whenever I felt like it. Invulnerable would be a living hell I would think. Because I suppose you could be maimed pretty bad.

Would you rather be covered with feathers or scales? XD

Scales for me, after having poultry for so long i know how delicate feathers can be... and how easily they can be pulled out too -.-

If you had a choice of swimming across a pool with a bull shark in or across the amazon river on your own which would you pick? (bearing in mind one threat is visible while others may not be)

Both of those are terrifying thoughts....
I would have to say the pool with the bull shark, because at least you can see what's in the water with you. You can't see what's in the water with you in the amazon, and there are more threats. Not being able to see what's around you is the number one reason why I don't swim in any bodies of water.

Would you rather have a fluffy dog's tail of your choice, or a prehensile, ugly-looking tail?

Fluffy dog tail. Prehensile is pretty cool but I p much just wanna wag mine.

Would you rather have horns (any kind you decide), or incredibly sharp pointed teeth (like a shark)?

hmmm... tough one as i'd prefer both... but i'd go with horns, well, antlers to be precise.

Would you rather be sweating in a desert or shivering in the arctic?

Shivering in the Arctic, at least you can do something about it if you're too cold.

Would you rather have a tooth pulled without painkillers/anaesthetic or a nail?
